Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-20

These Terms govern your use of Plainly ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by kRicha, a natural person located in Ukraine. The Service is currently in beta and is provided free of charge.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18.

2. Account

You create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email, since sign-in depends on it. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. What the Service does

The Service:

  • parses CV documents into structured data;
  • lets you edit that data;
  • exports the data as a formatted DOCX file intended to pass automated resume-screening filters;
  • matches your CV against job descriptions you submit;
  • produces tailored versions of your CV aligned with a given job description.

The Service does the above by processing your content with third-party large language models (currently Anthropic's Claude). See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Your content, your responsibility

You remain responsible for the content you submit to the Service, including CVs, Master Briefs, job descriptions, and any output the Service produces from them. Specifically:

  • You warrant that you have the right to submit the content you submit.
  • You are responsible for the truthfulness of the content in your CV and Master Brief.
  • You are responsible for any application, hiring decision, or other action you take based on Service output.
  • The Service is a tool that reformats and reorganises information you provide. It does not verify factual claims. It does not confirm qualifications. The final CV you send to any employer is your representation, not ours.

5. Limits of the Service

The Service is provided in beta, as-is, with no warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Specifically:

  • The Service's match scores and tailoring suggestions are indicative. They do not guarantee that any specific resume will be accepted by any specific employer or applicant tracking system.
  • The Service's parsing and tailoring may occasionally produce errors, omissions, or awkward phrasing. You are expected to review all output before use.
  • The Service runs on third-party infrastructure (hosting provider, language-model provider, email provider). Outages and changes in those services may affect availability.

6. The AI-data disclaimer

You understand and accept that:

  • Your CV content and Master Brief are transmitted to Anthropic for processing.
  • We delete your data from our database on your request.
  • We cannot retract data from Anthropic once it has been sent. Anthropic's retention policy governs that copy.
  • Before your first parse, the Service asks you to acknowledge this. By proceeding past that acknowledgement, you consent to processing on these terms.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • submit content you do not have the right to submit;
  • attempt to use the Service to fabricate qualifications, credentials, or experience you do not hold;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, spend caps, or other controls;
  • attempt to extract data belonging to other users;
  • submit content designed to manipulate the language-model provider's behaviour (prompt injection, jailbreaks, etc.);
  • submit content that is illegal, harassing, or designed to defame a third party.

Violating these rules is grounds for immediate account suspension or termination, at our discretion.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe in good faith that you have violated these Terms, or if we reasonably believe that your use creates legal or security risk to the Service or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page. Termination deletes your data from our database; see Section 6 regarding third-party retention.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided without warranty.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you, if any, is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. During beta, this amount is zero.
  • Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email and by a prompt in the Service at next sign-in. Continued use after material changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine.
